Last week, our CEO, Samuel Brocal, participated in an Executive Breakfast organized by the magazine ‘Computing’, along with HP and Microsoft. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss technological trends in education with Sergio Cabezas, Ambassador at Microsoft Spain, and Carlos Alonso, Education Developer Manager at HP, among others, mediated by Ambrosio Rodríguez, Director at Computing.

Senior Executives from the Technology and Innovation departments at universities such as Autónoma de Madrid, UNED or Rey Juan Carlos, as well as from educational institutions such as Cervantes Institute, participated in the debate about trends in the digitization of education, in which innovation plays a key role to promote change.

The main topics discussed were Mobility and Cloud Computing, which are among the most important technologies for the near future.

Virtual Reality was also mentioned among the IT experts in the room. Its implementation would close some technological gaps that concern some experts nowadays, which would offer high quality education to any user, no matter where he or she is located.
